Phenomenon of mudik in indonesia


    Do you know the meaning of mudik? Mudik is an activity back home before Lebaran. Mudik is a tradition that only in Indonesia.
    Not just follow the tradition only. But Mudik in Lebaran has a certain purpose. For example Meet with parents or pilgrimage to the tomb of parents and visit the hometown. In essence to release the longing to the family, relatives and people around the village. Although willing to face congestion on the road. It is certainly very useful. The first benefit is to train patience, When the journey we have to be patient because of the state of traffic, heat, in a state of fasting. The second tightens the relationship, After a long period of no visit to the hometown. When going home they can meet, tell stories, etc. with family and neighbors.
    From my recommendation above, We should make a phenomenon mudik or going home mudik more advanced benefits than the ugliness. Adjust the teachings of Islam that do not do something excessively.
